So, Trent and I started doing a few little drum recording tests. We're waiting on his new kick heads to arrive, so nothing permanent really, just getting a feel for it. It's coming along. I have 12 channels picking up his set, so it's pretty massive. Very natural though. Need to put a few dampeners on the toms and snare though. Bit ringy. Heads are tuned finally though. That's nice.

I'm gonna try to get some scratch tracks for him to play along with down along a metronome, so that should make things a little better. I didn't want to do it that way, but I guess that'll make it easier on Trent. I'll probably have Pat record all his tracks over one weekend. It won't take long. We're all very pro.

We haven't played Trent's yet, but we've found what we don't like about Pat's and Mine. Eventually, we'll come to a consensus on the best way to do it. It's coming along. Not much more to get in order to record. Very close. Just need some new drum heads and a few more mics. Then we're all set to go. We should be able to record pretty fast. We've played these songs forever.
